トンボ学生服の販促用の旗。

のぼり旗、というらしいです。

昭和初期のものだと推定します。

「東洋レーヨンの」と記載があります。

触った感じ、この旗自体もレーヨンで作られています。

圧巻のサイズ感。

じんわり滲む染め付けのプリント。

何よりデジタルでは出せない質感のタイポグラフィにやられます。

トンボのグラフィックもかなりクレイジーなディテール。

90年代のスケートブランドなんかのグラフィックを想起させます。

かなり古いものだけあって、シミや破れ、虫食いがあるものが多いのですが、こちらはかなり綺麗です。

壁に飾っても、旗の耳がついているので、突っ張り棒などに通して空間の仕切りにも。

収納にかけたりしても良さそうです。

しかし、カッコ良すぎる。

Tombow School Uniform Promotional Flag

This is a nobori (vertical banner) estimated to be from the early Shōwa period.
It bears the words “Toyo Rayon”, and from the texture, the flag itself also seems to be made of rayon.

The size alone is truly overwhelming.
The gently faded dye print carries a soft, timeworn beauty—something impossible to reproduce digitally.

The typography has an incredible, tactile quality that captures your attention immediately.
The Tombow graphic itself is wild and intricate—almost reminiscent of 1990s skate brand artwork.

Given its age, many similar flags show stains, tears, or insect damage,
but this one remains in remarkably good condition.

It would look fantastic hung on a wall,
or you can thread a tension rod through the sewn edge to use it as a room divider.
It could even be hung from a rack as a storage accent.

Simply put—it’s too cool.
