物の存在を再び読み替える行為。
異なる文脈へと接続する行為です。

そこに付与されるのは「新しい価値」ではなく、かつて覆い隠されていた普遍性の顕在化です。

1980年代の東京無線タクシーの行灯を、インテリアライトとしてアップサイクルしました。

時代とともに、車両の車高上昇や高架との接触防止のため、タクシーの行灯は徐々に小型化されてきました。
こちらは、おそらく社会では不要となり車両から外された行灯に手を加え、配線をやり直して通常の電球で使えるインテリアライトに仕上げています。

東京タワーに着想を得た独特な三角形のフォルムは、インテリアとしてレイアウトに取り入れてもモダンな魅力を放ちます。

We have upcycled a 1980s Tokyo Musen taxi roof light into a stylish interior lamp.

Over the years, taxi roof lights gradually became smaller due to rising vehicle heights and the need to avoid contact with overpasses. This piece was likely removed from a vehicle when it was no longer needed. We have refurbished it, rewired it, and converted it into an interior lamp that works with a standard light bulb.

Its distinctive triangular shape, inspired by Tokyo Tower, adds a modern charm to any interior layout.

Bulb: Uses E26 bulb. LED bulbs are recommended to avoid high temperatures. Bulb included.
