日本蚊帳工業会の販促用の旗。

本麻を使用した蚊帳を作っていた会社みたいです。

このタイプの販促モノ、のぼり旗、というらしいです。

昭和初期のものだと推定します。

こちらはざっくりしたコットンの質感です。

ちょうどいいかな？って感じのサイズ感。

フォントの種類やデザインが豊富に盛り込まれていて、満足感のある一枚。

デジタルでは出せない質感のタイポグラフィにやられます。

蚊帳のメッシュと、蚊、サークルの文字配置。

勉強になります。カッコ良すぎる。

日本語フォントのかっこよさを再認識させられます。

かなり古いものだけあって、シミや破れ、虫食いがあるものが多いのですが、こちらはかなり綺麗です。

壁に飾っても、旗の耳がついているので、突っ張り棒などに通して空間の仕切りにも。

収納にかけたりしても良さそうです。

暖簾のようにかけるタイプの耳が上部についてます。

A promotional nobori (vertical banner) created by the Japan Kaya Industry Association,
a company that once produced mosquito nets made from genuine hemp.

Estimated to be from the early Shōwa period,
this piece is made from coarse cotton fabric with a beautifully organic texture.

The size feels just right—striking without being overwhelming.
A rich mix of fonts and design elements makes this a highly satisfying piece to look at.

The typography has that unmistakable analog quality—
a texture that digital reproduction could never achieve.

The combination of the mosquito-net mesh motif, the mosquito graphic,
and the circular text layout is pure design genius—
a masterclass in composition and balance.

It’s the kind of piece that reminds you just how beautiful Japanese typography can be.

Given its age, many similar flags show stains, tears, or insect damage,
but this one remains in remarkably good condition.

It looks stunning hung on a wall,
and with its sewn loops (ears) along the top, it can easily be hung like a noren curtain
or used as a subtle room divider.
It would also look great draped from a rack or shelf.
